David Eun: The Intern
Well, hello there.
My name is David Eun, and I was fortunate enough to become the Fall Intern at The Burnette Agency. I previously worked in management and the fitness world, but after a lot of thought, I decided to pursue my Communications career head-on. Anything you’d ever want to learn about me, I’ve got you covered. I must confess I’m a pro in this field.
I was born in Atlanta’s Northside Hospital on the 23rd of March, 1994. My mom endured 26 hours of labor with me, so as you could imagine she loves me dearly. After a week in the hospital, I was brought back to my home in Dunwoody, GA, where I couldn’t have asked for a better childhood.
Senior Year of high school rolled around, and I had zero conception of what I wanted my future to be. My college counselor recommended I go visit this university in Boston called, well, Boston University. I toured there twice – both times in the rain and wind – and fell in love with not only the campus but the city itself.
I graduated in 2016 with a BS in Advertising. However, I discovered early on in my college career I loved fitness – or so I thought. After one personal training stint to another, I concluded my bright fire for strength and conditioning finally extinguished. I felt lost.
As would any adult, I sat in Barnes & Noble day after day overdosing on espresso and got on the job hunt. Eventually, The Burnette Agency was kind enough to invite me for an interview, where I met Arielle and her amazing team. After conversing with them for over an hour, I had that gut feeling telling me TBA was where I needed to be.
Being in this internship rekindled my interest in Communications and reminded me why I chose to pursue a life in it in the first place: I thoroughly enjoy the creativity that accompanies our field, and I enjoy the opportunities to communicate with clients – people from all different walks of life – so they have the platforms they need to tell their unique stories.
I’m looking forward to the next few months here with The Burnette Agency, I'm grateful to be here and I'm excited to see what we’ll accomplish together.
And in case you wanted to know some random facts, I enjoy watching and training MMA (Mixed Martial Arts), I can’t get enough of visiting all types of museums, I read philosophy and political science for fun, I try to hike a new trail once a month and I love my girlfriend. (Hi Amy)
