5 Adobe Premiere Pro Features That Will Make Your Life Easier In 2019
In 2019 Adobe has made numerous updates to its flagship software Adobe premiere pro but here are a few that I think will make your life easier.
Split View for Building A Look
The split view gives you the ability to split your program monitor display vertically, horizontally, or view full images side by side to compare an image before and after you color grade.
Auto-Ducking
Auto Ducking allowed for automatic programming of keyframes that will lower the volume of a background sound against the foreground sound. When you turn on ducking, Premiere Pro adds an Effect that will amplify the clip. Keyframes that are programmed by the Auto Ducking feature are added to this effect's main server so that it can easily be added or removed without interfering with your previous sound design.
Create Gradients Using the Essential Graphics Panel
This gives you the ability to create gradients for particular shapes using the essential graphics panel in Premiere Pro. Clicking a color swatch will give you a shape layer in the essential graphics panel, and you will be able to select from the solid, linear gradient, or radial gradient fill types in the color picker. Edit and create opacity stops, color stops, and midpoints in the Color Picker. You are also able to adjust the gradient angles and the locations of color stops and midpoints directly from the programs monitor.
Hardware Acceleration
Premiere Pro supports hardware-accelerated H.264 encoding on Mac OS 10.13 systems with supported hardware and Windows 10 with 6th Generation Intel Core processors and Intel Graphics enabled, Hardware Encoding can be chosen as an option in the Encoding Settings section in the Export Settings dialog. If the specific combination of Export Settings is not supported by your hardware, there is a fallback to normal Software Encoding.
Video Limiter
In 2019 Premiere Pro has introduced a brand new Video Limiter effect that is effective for current digital media formats, modern broadcast, and all professional post-production use. This effect gives you the ability to limit chroma and luma, as well as change the RGB values to meet broadcast specifications. It can be applied as a per shot effect while you are working with Lumetri Color, or added as an output effect to go over the entire sequence once exporting.
