Hi Everyone,
My name is Megan Cohill. I am a born and raised Southwest Florida girl, who moved to Atlanta in the beginning of 2017. I have been searching for positions that allow me to show my creative side, and turns out I have landed the perfect position at the Burnette Agency as their Account Coordinator. Moving to Atlanta was a big change from beaches and 90-degree weather at all times but, Atlanta is my home now and I love it here.
I graduated in 2017 with a degree in Telecommunication Production from the University of Florida, Go Gators! You may ask why I chose Telecom Production, well this is because I have a passion for all things production. Ever since I was a little girl I loved creating things. I would take household objects and somehow plan commercials and photo-shoots for them with whatever I could find. Who knew that almost 15 years later I would be doing something I was doing at the age of 9 in my career. Everyone says in order to enjoy work; you need to love what you do. Here at the Burnette Agency I am doing just that.
What I see myself accomplishing at this company is not only growing as an individual but also growing with the brand and making it the best it can be. Making our clients feel like they can trust us with their company’s media is important to me, and I look forward to being able to show them what The Burnette Agency and myself can do. I enjoy working in such a team oriented environment and being able to generate ideas together for our clientele. I am very excited to learn more about Public Relations and the different planning that is involved when promoting various businesses around Atlanta. I am also looking forward to learning different aspects of this company when it comes to production and creativity. I love having my own voice and being able to express my opinions and The Burnette Agency allows me to do that. I am incredibly blessed to be joining this team and extremely thankful for this opportunity. I may be 579 miles away from Southwest Florida, and have only been at this company for a few days, but I feel more at home than ever before.
