Hey there!

My name is Gennifer Allen and I am so excited to say that I’m The Burnette Agency’s newest intern!

Here’s a little information about me: I’m currently a third-year at the University of Georgia majoring in International Affairs, minoring in Communications and pursuing a certificate in New Media. My passions include listening to pop culture and political podcasts, trying new restaurants in Atlanta, and traveling. Speaking of traveling, I just came back from a study abroad trip in China. We hit four major cities in one month, starting with Beijing, Xi’An, Hong Kong, and ending with Shanghai. It was truly one of the most amazing trips I’ve taken so far, and I can’t wait to see where my passport leads me to next.

There are a multitude of things I can’t wait to experience here at the agency. First and foremost, I’m a huge people person. I enjoy problem-solving and connecting with others, and I’m curious to see what it’s like to work directly with clients and assist them with their needs. I’m also excited to experience the creative side of social media, and all that comes with it. Lastly, I would love to discover more about myself here, including my strengths, weaknesses, and passions.

My ultimate goal is to gain as much knowledge as I can in the areas of public relations, social media, and creative services. I want to be able to take the skills I learn and not only apply them to my professional endeavors, but to my life as a whole.
